Press Release by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs about the “Israeli” aggression on Gaza

Gaza Strip has been under barbaric and unjustified “Israeli” aggression over the course of the last few nights.

The “Israeli” army has intentionally attacked at late night hours and in a close nearby of residential areas, which caused a great state of fear and panic among defenseless citizens, especially women, children, and old people.

Regarding this renewed “Israeli” aggression, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs stresses the following:

First, we call for immediate interference by mediators, especially Egypt and United Nations, to stop the “Israeli” aggression on the defenseless people of Gaza.

Second, we call upon international community, including international and regional players to lift the siege of Gaza immediately, and defuse the ticking bomb in Gaza.

Third, we call international community and its organizations to break the silence, and condemn this barbaric occupation.

Forth, we demand the International Criminal Court speed up the procedures of investigation in the ongoing “Israel” crimes.

Fifth, we call rights groups to document and expose “Israeli” crimes against Palestinian people. Also, we ask aid groups to supply Gaza with necessary medical equipment, and save it from an imminent humanitarian disaster as a result of the siege and the spread of COVID-19 virus.
