The Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Gaza expresses its condemnation to the recent French campaigns against Islam and the Muslim community as well as the publishing of insulting cartoons to Prophet Muhammad (Peace Be Upon Him).

The Ministry considers that publishing such cartoons are provocative to the Muslim world and contradicts the value of freedom of expression.

Therefore, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs calls for a strict response from the top Islamic bodies and countries to pressure on the French authorities to prevent the publication of such insulting cartoons which degrade the Muslim’s world symbols and beliefs.
