The Palestinian Ministry of Foreign Affairs condemns in the strongest words the adoption of a new Israeli bill on legitimizing settlements in the occupied West Bank, the ministry warns that such adoption will escalate the security situation and therefore, the occupation authorities hold full responsibility of the repercussions of this bill.

The ministry confirms that no matter what Israel expropriates of Palestinian lands and imposes facts on the ground; it will remain Palestinian lands and properties.

The ministry calls upon the international community to act decisively against the Israeli government acts in the occupied Palestinian territories, and warns that the silence over passing the law will be interpreted by the Israeli authorities as a green light to proceed more in imposing further restrictions on the Palestinians.
