The government committee to break the siege is preparing to receive a convoy of Miles of Smiles 34, headed by Dr. Issam Youssef.

It is scheduled to enter the first part of the convoy during the day, while the second part will enter tomorrow, Wednesday.

The convoy consists of 26 people, belonging to 7 Arab and international nationalities, and who carry medical and humanitarian aid to reduce the tight blockade imposed on the Gaza Strip.

The 34 miles of smiles are considered the first of its kind, after the convoys stopped coming to the Gaza Strip since the end of the Israeli aggression on Gaza in 2014.

Committee Chairman “Alaeddin Al-Battah” appreciates this initiative of the convoy’s organizers, and hopes that they will continue to operate other convoys to break the siege on Gaza, and calls the Free World to visit Gaza and participate to break the siege on it.

The Chairman of the Committee extends many thanks to the Egyptian authorities, to facilitate the crossing of the convoy through the Rafah crossing, and hopes to facilitate the crossing of other convoys, in light of the catastrophic situation for the people in the besieged Gaza Strip 13th year in a row.
