First, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Gaza presents its heartfelt condolences to the families of the victims of the tragic incident that took place in the Nuseirat Refugee Camp in the central Gaza Strip which caused the death of ten Palestinians including children and women along with tens of 57 injuries.

The Civil Defence and Rescue teams have rushed to the place in an attempt to contain the fire, but due to the lack of suitable equipment and fire-extinguishing materials, the job in putting out the fire was difficult.

Based on this incident, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs calls upon the United Nations and the donor countries to provide the needed support for the Civil Defense department in Gaza, and to pressure on the Israeli authorities to let these equipment enter to Gaza.
