The Ministry of Foreign Affairs received Monday, Oct 4, the head of Khan Younis Municipality, Dr. Alaa Al-Batta, and his entourage.

The Director-General of the Ministry, Mr. Mahmoud El-Madhoun, has welcomed the visiting delegation and presented the efforts of the ministry to collect the needs of other ministries and prepare the projects for marketing and fundraising. He also valued the efforts of Khan Younis Municipality to help the citizens although the blockade and the lack of resources.

On his side, Mr. Al-Batta thanked the Ministry for its efforts to prepare and market the projects for the good of the Palestinian society. He also discussed the challenges of his municipality and the possible ways to solve them.

At the end of the meeting, the two parties agreed to hold more meetings in the future and collaborate together, in order to serve the nation and the citizens.
