A delegation from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, headed by Counselor Mahmoud Al-Madhoun, Director General of the Ministry, met the Attorney General, Advisor Dia’ Al-Din Al-Madhoun, and this came during an official visit to the Attorney General’s office with the aim of discussing some forgery cases that were discovered by the Department of Ratifications of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

The two parties affirmed the necessity of continuing joint work to control forged official documents, as well as to prosecute the perpetrators the legal irregularities by enhancing the oversight role of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs on the documents that received from abroad or issued to abroad, and this will come through the complementary relationship between the two parties to preserve public rights.

It was also agreed to set a joint cooperation protocol between the two parties to develop solutions and executive mechanisms guarantee that documents, which may threaten the rights of citizens, are not circulated.
