The Planning and International Cooperation Bureau held a workshop for the development of government achievement reports. The workshop was attended by the Deputy Minister, Mr. Mahmoud Al-Madhoun, along with several employees and numerous experts in engineering and management from government and civil institutions.
The workshop took place in the Bureau’s training hall on the morning of Tuesday, August 29, 2023. Al-Madhoun welcomed the attendees, emphasizing the importance of government achievement reports. He also stressed the necessity of involving all relevant stakeholders in enhancing the report, stating that this meeting aimed to discuss the proposed improvements to optimize its outcomes.
In his presentation, Mr. Bilal Abu Amara reviewed the monthly government achievement report for July 2023, highlighting the report’s components and the classification of achievements by government sectors.
Furthermore, Mr. Ahmed Al-Halak presented a model government achievement report for the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia for the years 2021 and 2022. He explained that the discussion should focus on the improvement of the government achievement report and what should or should not be included in the report. He confirmed that arrangements would be made to hold another workshop later to assess the report after completing the development, additions, and recommendations.
It is worth mentioning that the Planning and International Cooperation Bureau prepares monthly, quarterly, semi-annual, and annual government achievement reports. Additionally, the Bureau undertakes various tasks, including planning, monitoring, and administrative development for government institutions, international cooperation, and projects.
