On Monday, March 27, 2023, Mahmoud Al-Madhoon, Director-General of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, welcomed the Counselor Ahmed Al-Hetta, the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Justice, and his accompanying delegation at the ministry headquarters in Gaza.

The visit aimed to discuss ways of joint cooperation between the two sides. During the meeting, Mr. Al-Madhoon reviewed the most significant achievements of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, particularly regarding the ratification services, project marketing, international cooperation, and communication with supportive international institutions.

The two sides discussed all areas where the work of the two ministries intersects.

At the end of the meeting, both sides agreed to enhance their joint cooperation in maintaining social peace, especially regarding the work of the ratification unit at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, as it finds counterfeit documents and powers of attorney and refers them directly to the public prosecution. They emphasized the need to continue the hotline communication between the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Ministry of Justice to preserve those rights.
