The Director-General of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Mr. Mahmoud El-Madhoun, received on Monday morning, November 7, 2022, a delegation from the Public Prosecution, headed by the Head of the Technical Office, Counselor Salah Al-Drewi.
This visit is part of the “Partners for Justice” program, which is implemented by the Public Prosecution in collaboration with government bodies.
During the meeting, El-Madhoun presented the most prominent achievements of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs during 2022, discussed his ministry’s role in marketing government projects as the Head of the Supreme Committee for Projects & International Cooperation, and asked the Public Prosecution about their needed projects.
On his side, Counselor Al-Drewi provided a detailed explanation of “Partners for Justice” program and its objectives. As part of this program, the Public Prosection performs visits to government and civil society organizations in order to solve any problems that obstruct their work and strengthen the mutual relationship between the Public Prosecution and partners of justice.
At the end of the meeting, both sides agreed to promote mutual cooperation in order to protect civil peace and increase the coordination between the Public Prosecution and the Consular Affairs Unit, especially with regard to forgery detection.
