The Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Gaza continued the Negotiation Skills Training Program via Zoom for the employees of the departments of international relations, cooperation and project management in government ministries and organizations.
During the training session, on the 28th of September, the trainees acquired different skills in managing the negotiation process. The training also focused on holding negotiations by developing a deep understanding of the aims, the principles, the methods of negotiation, the outcomes, the people, the place and the plans.
The trainer explained the principles of the negotiation process, such as pre-preparation, managing developments on the negotiating table, as well as, post-evaluation, and drawing out the lessons learned.
The trainees implemented various practical cases which enhanced their skills and helped them practice the theoretical part of the training.
It should be noted that this training is a completion of a group of training programs implemented by the diplomatic training program of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, targeting different government groups, such as directors of the departments of international cooperation, relations and projects, as well as the crossing borders’ employees and the employees who interact with the foreigners.
