On Monday, the 12th of October 2020, the Palestinian Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Gaza ended a training program in Negotiation and Mediation Skills, as the last session included practical activities in mediation skills.
The Program was attended by 30 trainees from various government ministries and organizations with a total of eight meetings dispersed over three months through Zoom.
The program was implemented in cooperation with specialized experts in this field, including Prof. Alain Lempereur, who is an expert in negotiation and mediation skills, and conflict resolution.
The participants acquired specialized knowledge and skills in the negotiation process, as the material presented included the components of the negotiation process, which are: understanding both sides of the negotiation, communication throughout the process, how to win a negotiation, negotiation strategies and techniques, and finally, mediation skills and conflict resolution.
This training program is within a group of training programs the ministry organized for the employees of international relations and cooperation, and projects in various government ministries and organizations since the beginning of this year.
