MOFA Receives Rights Delegation
On Thursday, the 9th of September, the Palestinian Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Gaza received a delegation from Al-Mizan Centre and the General Independent Commission for Human Rights “Ombudsman’s Office”, consisting of:
- Essam Yunis, Director-general of Al-Mizan Center for Human Rights.
- Yamin El-Madhoun, coordinator of the Field Research Unit in Al-Mizan Center.
- Jameel Sarhan, vice-director general of the Independent Commission for Human Rights.
They were received by the Director-general/Counselor, Mahmoud El-Madhoun.
The meeting aimed at exchanging opinions about the condition of human rights in Palestine and discussing the issues of interest for both parties concerning filing cases against the occupation’s atrocities in the International Criminal Court.
On his part, the Counselor, Mr. El-Madhoun, appreciated this visit and stressed the significance of reinforcing the relationship between the Ministry and the Human Rights’ centers, encouraging more collaboration between both parties.
