The Ministry of Foreign Affairs held a meeting on Sunday, the 26th of September, for the committee in charge of looking into the employees’ applications for the International and Diplomatic Cooperation Program which aims at developing the international cooperation employees’ skills in the ministries and government departments.
The meeting started with the director-general, Mahmoud El-Madhoun, welcoming the committee members and wishing them success. He, then, emphasized the importance of setting the criteria through the highest levels of transparency, integrity, and accuracy in choosing the candidates.
Subsequently, the participants discussed the criteria followed in evaluating the application forms which included academic certificates, professional experience, the nature of work within the government departments, and foreign language proficiency.
After agreeing on the criteria and evaluation methods, the members of the committee proceeded to evaluate the submitted applications and CVs separately, maintaining accuracy and transparency throughout the process.
It is worth noting that the International and Diplomatic Cooperation program has provided the Palestinian government in the past couple of years with many cadres and competencies, and the current training program is the fourth of the diplomatic training programs held by the Ministry during the last ten years.
