The Advisory Board of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs held its first meeting on Thursday, June 16, in alignment with the decisions of the government follow-up committee.
The Advisory Board, headed by Dr. Mohammad Awad, consists of 7 experts, including Dr. Ahmad Yousef, Dr. Mohammad Al-Ajrami, Dr. Salah Abd Al-Ati, Dr. Ra’fat Hassouna, Dr. Jamil Asmar, and Dr. Sami Al-Astal.
The board is concerned with discussing the tasks of the Ministry, presenting advice and consultation, and guiding the Ministry through times of crisis.
MOFA Director-General, Mahmoud El-Madhoun, stressed the importance of the board, pointing out the government strategy to include all the active parties in the society in achieving the interests of our people and providing them with the best services.
During the meeting, the board was presented with the objectives of the Ministry, its activities, achievements, and future plans.
