The Supreme Committee of Projects, headed by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, launched the digitized project management system, which includes the complete lifecycle of the project, starting from preparation, passing through marketing, approval, monitoring, financial and administrative assessment, and ending with the closure of the project.
The system was launched in a workshop held in the HQs of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs on Wednesday, June 1, and attended by the head of the Supreme Committee of Projects, the head of the Sub-committee of Projects’ Digitalization, and representatives of the Ministry of Communication & IT and the departments of projects and international cooperation of the various government bodies.
During his speech, the head of the Supreme Committee of Projects, Mahmoud El-Madhoun, stressed the importance of the system in monitoring projects and ensuring their quality.
The system was presented during the workshop and explained in detail so that government ministries can start adding their needs to the system.
It is worthy to note that the system was internally developed by the Software Development Unit of the Ministry of Communication & IT.
