The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Supreme Committee of Projects & International cooperation, in collaboration with the International Committee of Red Cross, held on Wednesday, March 16, a workshop in Al-Salam hotel at Gaza beach.
The workshop is part of the Projects’ Management program held by the Ministry for the employees of international cooperation and projects departments in various government bodies, aims at promoting mutual cooperation between the Ministry and ICRC, and seeks to improve the coordination regarding the implementation of government projects.
The workshop was attended by the director-general of the Ministry, Mahmoud El-Madhoun, and the Head of Sub-Delegation of ICRC, Mirjam Lea Muller, along with the trainees of the Projects’ Management program.
Muller welcomed the attendees, highlighting the importance of such meetings in closing the gap between the government bodies and the international donors and improving their coordination.
El-Madhoun thanked the ICRC for their initiative, calling the trainees to take advantage of such workshops to obtain as many skills and experience as possible.
It is worthy to note that the workshop is part of a series of meetings held by the Ministry with the ICRC in order to develop the governance system in the Gaza Strip.
