The Ministry of Foreign Affairs  in Gaza welcomed all diplomatic efforts  through mediators to restore calm , expressing  its deep appreciation for the efforts made by Egypt and the United Nations to stop the Israeli aggression against the Palestinian civilians in Gaza.

The Ministry of  Foreign Affairs pointed in its second press statement that the main cause of problems in Gaza Strip is the occupation and the  blockade that impeding Palestinians’ ability to live a normal life, and which caused the rise of poverty and unemployment rate.

The Ministry confirmed in the statement was sent to a number of diplomats that the Palestinian people in all their places are determined  to resist the occupation by all legitimate means to end the occupation and establish the Palestinian state with Jerusalem as its capital.

The Ministry held the occupation the  fully responsiblity for this round of aggression, calling on all States and acting parties to take their legal and moral responsibilities to stop the Israeli aggression and to ensure that necessary measures and steps are taken to prevent the Israeli occupation to  continue the aggression as well as to provide protection for Palestinian civilians.
