The Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Gaza condemns listed Mr. Fathi Hammad, Member of Palestinian Parliament, on the list of American terrorism because this decision lacks to the lowest legal justifications and relies on false information.
In a letter addressed to the American consulate in Jerusalem, the Ministry considered that “the American administration ignored the main principle affirmed by international covenants and agreements, which is the right of the occupied peoples to resist, and this applies to the Palestinian case, which has been suffering from the Israeli occupation for more than six decades.”
The Ministry added that “there are thousands of statements and documents issued by humanitarian organizations condemn Israel for these crimes”.
The Ministry expressed its regret because the American administration turned a blind eye to all forms of Israeli terrorism, and even gave it political cover and deliberately ignored the rights of the Palestinians.
In its letter, the Ministry called the American administration to reverse its decision, which interferes with all international laws and legislations.
