105 years after Balfour’s Ominous Declaration & Palestinian Suffering is Still Ongoing

It has been 105 years since the promise made by UK Foreign Secretary Arthur Balfour to establish “a home for the Jewish People in Palestine”, and the suffering of our people is still ongoing since then. Besides the fact that Mr. Balfour gave what he doesn’t have to those who don’t deserve, his ominous declaration provided the Zionist gangs with the legal cover to commit the crime of the century and drive a whole nation out of its home country. As a result of the colonial policies of the UK and the complicity of the international community, our people were driven out of their ancestral land, where they lived in dignity, and turned into refugees living off international aid.

After 105 years, the picture hasn’t changed much, as our people are still living in refugee camps, Zionist gangs are still killing, plundering, and practicing land theft, and the international community is still silent or complicit. We are entitled to ask: Isn’t it the time, after 105 years, for the international community to correct its historical mistake and return the rights to the Palestinian people? In fact, the international community bears a historical and moral responsibility towards our people and is demanded to stand up to its responsibilities by enabling our people from achieving their dreams of returning to their home country and establishing their independent state with Jerusalem as its capital.
