The Ministry of Health received Egyptian International Coalition delegation for breaking the siege
The Ministry of Health received at Rafah crossinga delegation the Egyptian International Coalition delegation for Breaking the Siege headed by Eng. Ahmed Al-Asi and the accompanying delegation.
They were received by Adham Al Batta, Director of the Department of Marketing of Projects in International Cooperation department at the Ministry, Omar Taneera, Head of Hotel Services, and The Committee for Receipt of donations chaired by Atef Mohsen.
The delegation included ten people from several countries including Egypt, Britain and the United States.
The convoy carried a shipment of medical aids, dedicated for the disabled people,offered by several different countries, including Egypt and Britain, also it carried 500 first aid kits and other equipment.
The ministry, represented by Health Minister Dr. Bassem Naim, expressed its thanks to the International Coalition delegation for the medical aids offered to the Palestinian People which contributed to reduce the burden on the Ministry, due to the blockade on the Gaza Strip.
Eng. Ahmed Al-Aasi expressed his pleasure for visiting Gaza for the third time and praised the steadfastness of Palestinian to face of difficulties, he stressed on coalitions’s readiness, to coordinate with international organizations, to organize other visits in the next stage, to guarantee the arrival of aids according to the needs of the Ministry of Health.
