The Ministry of Foreign Affairs opened on Thursday, December 22, the VIP hall at Beit Hanoun Crossing. The opening ceremony was attended by Mahmoud El-Madhoun, Director-General of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Brigadier Iyad Salman, Assistant Director of the Borders & Crossings Authority, Alaa Mansour, Programs Director at Cinta Gaza Malaysia, and many other dignitaries.
During his speech, El-Madhoun stressed that the new building is a welcome message to all the guests of Palestine who seeks to lift the unfair blockade of the Gaza Strip. He also expressed his gratitude to everyone who contributed to the realization of the idea of this building.
On his side, brigadier Salman said that the hall was opened in full coordination with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, highlighting its role in receiving visiting delegations.
Alaa Mansour, Programs Director at Cinta Gaza Malaysia, declared that his organization has lately opened a number of projects that meet the needs of the Palestinian people, stating that the opening of a VIP hall sends a positive message to visiting delegations.
