Part of the qualification program in diplomacy and international cooperation inaugurated by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in February, the Ministry held, in partnership with the Independent Commission for Human Rights (ICHR), a special training session about obligations’ fulfillment from a human rights perspective on Monday, November 14, 2022.

The training session was launched in the presence of MOFA Director-General, Mahmoud El-Madhoun, the Vice President of the Independent Commission for Human Rights (ICHR), Jamil Sarhan, and the Awareness and Training Coordinator at ICHR, Bahjat El-Helou.

The training included several specialized topics, such as human rights and their relations to the MOFA mandate, the promotion and protection of human rights locally and internationally, and the best practices of the employees of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs from a human rights perspective.
